"hello. I graduated from this school this year (batch of 2024), so my experience at this school was average. I can't say it was bad, that would be unfair but it definitely wasn't awesome. the school culture is fine, I mean they emphasise values a lot and have chapel every thursday morning (cuts into lesson time if you are okay with that). not very toxic, most people have a tightly knit friend group. (though apparently the p4s this year had 'roast battles' in their classes?) academics are fine, I guess they prep you alright for psle, as of this year I think our grades are pretty average. teachers are nice. very caring and they take the time to prepare quality lessons. just don't anger them. cca sessions are quite fun but you should probably trust your own interests over what your parents are saying or the reverse will be true. we get a lot of opportunities here. overall, yes this school is pretty good"

"i graduated from this school in 2024, and am now secondary 1. all i have to say is im really happy that i had been in this school. ill break down what i want to write about into a few sections. TEACHERS: some days were rough due to the heavy workload approaching exam period, but a week before exams a lot of the teachers don’t give you homework. they give you your own time to study and revise without stressing you out, but the teachers here actually care about your grades and want you to do well. most of the time the teachers were actually there for me and also able to handle situations between girls like fighting verbally or maybe physically quite well without being biased towards students. the teachers actually teach very well and make it so that as long as you pay attention and strive to do your best, you’ll be able to excel in your studies. STUDENTS: the students are so-so, but in my batch there were personally a lot of kind-hearted, funny people who made the experience here unforgettable but there were also a handful of insensitive, rude people. but thats unavoidable. overall the students here are quite good, but there a few bad ones which can really bring you down. just don’t interact with them and mingle with the right people and you’ll have a great time. but i cannot stress this enough: DO NOT MINGLE WITH THE WRONG CROWD CCA: CCA here was a blast actually. it was always fun and engaging, with each activity being something that you can enjoy without worrying about having to perform flawlessly to impress anybody. i had to stay back till 4.30 on wednesdays, but i think this is quite reasonable. i really liked the cca timing because when i went home afterwards, i didn’t feel like the day was about to end and could take a shower, and have fun watching my favourite shows before dinner. and yet during cca, there was sufficient time for me to learn new things. it was even more enjoyable since my friends were there, making each moment an exciting one. TOILETS: ok… i’m not going to lie, even if i do love this school, the toilets were somewhat disastrous. it’s not common but it’s not rare for morning announcements to include ‘the toilets have been vandalised’, which is kind of an issue with the students. the main thing is that some of the locks are broken, so friends have to help you hold. and if you have trust issues that’s not a situation you want to be in while you do a number one or two. but honestly most of the time the toilet was quite clean."

"I graduated from PL almost 7 years ago and I always strongly recommend my relatives/ colleagues/ etc to send their daughters there. PL impart good values to all their students, and they have very caring and dedicated teachers. Up till today, I still meet up with my secondary school friends frequently and we never fail to talk about the good old days! One of the best girls school in Singapore :)"

"A good Christian primary school with dedicated principals during their terms of serving. The school activities are fun and safe for the pupils. And the environment is simple and pure for the young minds. Definitely recommended for your daughter to be enrolled here for her 6 years of primary education. I did for all my girls."

"This school's superiors are ignorants, period! I feel really sorry about the kids going this school because of the toxic environment in the school management. How do you expect to educate young brains that will be Singapore's future in this kind of toxic environment! I would give them zero star but it is not possible. Do your kids a favor and find another decent school that does not have a toxic environment..."
