"I love this school !! p5 and p6 years were the best. My form teachers are very hardworking and responsible female teachers πŸ’• the patient they gave to my class was on a whole other level. I rlly appreciate what the teachers did for the class of 2024 6ruby (even though we're quite naughty). I'll miss Ms. yani, who believes in me and helps my peers. Plus, she deals with a lot of issues that I find most teachers would turn a blind eye to. Ms hadijah helps my English with after-school lessons even though she could just take a break for the day, but she still wants to see me and my friends do better for psle. She might seem strict, but she's a really caring and respected teacher! I've been with her since p3, and I'll miss her a lot. Ms teong, even though she doesn't teaches me but as I can see from my friends that she teaches, she's a rlly supportive teacher and she gave alot of after school lessons to my friends but I can tell she's trying her best to make them get better at the subject. I respect the other subject teachers for giving their patient to my class. Mr Farley is the most memorable one. Love our art teacher as well for encouraging us for psle πŸ₯°"

They don't care for the students.Someone i know that is from this school gets physically abused/ bullied everyday yet the teachers nor the principal does anything but judge the person. What type of school is this?."

"As an alumni of the school this school is absolute rubbish that is so disgusting it cannot be burnt and sent to semakau, instead it belongs in some radioactive wasteland or something. Back when Mr Tay principal things were at least okay, he cared enough. The teachers couldn't care less about student welfare at ALL. The teachers punishments were horrible back in my days, especially with the Amethyst teachers, they'd publicly humiliate students because of their personality (introverted or extroverted), pick favourites, and NEGLECT STUDENTS because they didnt get A for a subject for PSLE (yes this happened, im not kidding). Back in my time, at least they looked into the bullying cases and made the bully say "Oh I'm sorry" and then gave us a little pat on the back and said "Run along now children!". Hell, even the teachers were bullying the students, my older brother was having a god damned nose bleed and the PE teacher said "Don't waste my time." Even when my parents emailed the school and told them the situation, the teacher never apologised directly, nooo all he said was a "If you ever need any help, please approach me." THAT'S ALL. teachers also name called my friend multiple times, calling her a baby for crying and scolding her in front of the whole class. (this was my form teacher btw). Now, the situation is even WORSE, they don't look into any bullying cases even when there's physical assault involved, they give parents false hope that they'll do something to help when they do absolutely NOTHING, and from my understanding the teacher still LOVE to pick favourites. My little brother was CHOKED by a floorball stick and had his lunchbox stepped on and belongings swept off a table. Yes, I admit, my brother is no saint. He completes homework in class and just refuses to do work sometimes, he's also annoying as all living hell, but is this really a justified punishment? They still pick the absolute WORST people to become perfects and I understand why. Why wouldn't the teachers want a mini them roaming around school grounds? There's a Chinese saying that goes "ζœ‰εΎ—εΏ…ζœ‰ε€±οΌŒζœ‰ε€±εΏ…ζœ‰εΎ—.” meaning when theres wins there must be loses and vise versa. Of course, there will always be diamonds in the rough. There will always be wonderful teachers even in the most dire of situations just trying their best. The two that come to my mind are Mr Ariffin and ζž—θ€εΈˆ. They are truly wonderful teachers that go above and beyond for their students. They have insane amounts of patience, dealing with squealing immature kids everyday while trying not to blow up and people who try to make learning fun in general. Thank you for putting so much dedication into every class you teach, and seeing potential in every one of us. We are truly just starfish you guys are picking up and throwing back into the big ocean, giving us a new chances to learn to learn everyday, and reviving our passion in the subject. And I thank you so much for that. In conclusion: Please don't come to this dumpster fire of school unless you hate your children, then by all means please go ahead. With little love, Someone from 6 Jade, class of 2020"
